Save your Box Tops!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to another great year at Shanahan Middle School! My name is Sonia Wilson and I’m the volunteer coordinator for Box Tops for Education. This year, our goal is to raise $500 to purchase books and essential supplies.

We can Earn Points by:

 

Clip- Clip Box Top coupons from hundreds of participating products and send them to school.  Box Tops coupons are worth 10 cents each when our school redeems them from Box Tops for Education. 

 

Shop- Shop at your favortie online stores through the Box Tops Marketplace (btfe.com/marketplace).  Up to 8% of each qualifying purchase is automatically donated to our school.  There is no additional cost to your purchase and many exclusive deals and discounts can be found!

 

Buy books- Purchase books online at Barnes & Noble through the Box Tops Reading Room.  Our school will receive 6% of your new book purchases and 3% of all other online purchases.

 

Box Tops for Education is a great way to help without additional expense. Just clip the “tops”, send in with your child’s name and Team number. A collection box will be located near the front entrance. There will be updates posted on the SMS PTO Website during the school year. ENTERTAINMENT BOOK SALE

Entertainment Book Sale 

The annual entertainment Book sale starts on August 27th and continues through September 10th, 2010. Entertainment Books will cost $25.00  this year.  Enjoy up to 50% savings on family fun, dining out, travel, shopping and more! There are new companies in the book ex: Steak & Shake, plus many other companies. We will be adding a special Incentive to students that sell at least five books. This year your student will keep $6.25  from each book sold for their Washington D.C. account. This fundraiser is a large part of the Shanahan PTO budget. Look for your student to bring home a demo book, parent information and an order form Friday,  August 27th, 2010.  Reminder – The demo book is not a freebie-just a way for students to show customers the great deals that the book contains.
